This place was always buzzing with a mix of gay, straight, bi and trans guests..eventually the owners flew off to a new Mardi Gras in Gran Canaria and opened their bar in the Yumbo Centre. The Mardi Gras in Blackpool changed name and management, then went into a 2 year hiatus, empty, unloved and uncared for.

Thats when we came along, with a plan to reform the Mardi Gras to the place it used to be and beyond, a gay owned, discrimination free zone, we have spent the last months renovating the hotel and hope you like it...
