Our Story
Mardi Gras Blackpool was born from a simple belief: everyone deserves a place where they can truly be themselves. Set on Blackpool's iconic Promenade, just steps from the famous Tower, we've created a destination that combines the best of boutique hospitality with the energy of the LGBTQ+ nightlife scene.
Our hotel offers beautifully designed, adults-only rooms where comfort meets character. The bar serves expertly crafted cocktails in an atmosphere that pulses with warmth and inclusivity. And our events calendar is packed with drag shows, themed nights, and celebrations that bring our community together.

Our History
This place was always buzzing with a mix of gay, straight, bi and trans guests. Eventually the owners flew off to a new Mardi Gras in Gran Canaria and opened their bar in the Yumbo Centre. The Mardi Gras in Blackpool changed name and management, then went into a 2 year hiatus — empty, unloved and uncared for.
That's when we came along, with a plan to reform the Mardi Gras to the place it used to be and beyond — a gay owned, discrimination free zone. We have spent the last months renovating the hotel and hope you like it…
